General conditions and insurance for renting and tourist transport
Reservation: The reservation is made upon the payment of a deposit of 30% of the amount of the quotation .It may specify the journey depending on the type of rental and/or vehicle, the price will be fixed per day, or per kilometer.
Cancellation : Cancellation occurring more than 3 months before the date of departure: full refund.Cancellation occurring between 3 months and 21 days before the date of departure: refund of half of the deposit. Cancellation occurring less than 21 days before the date of departure: no refund of the deposit. The downward modification of the rental period is considered as a cancellation.
Included service :
- Unless otherwise stated, unlimited mileage (in the event of a transfer or particularly long journey, a price per kilometre will be calculated)
- Insurance (see details below)
- Fuel
- Lubricant and maintenance
- Driver’s salary and travel expenses
- Replacement of the vehicle within half a day, in the event of breakdown or accident.
- Local taxes
Rental period
Except for transfers, rentals are deducted per whole day, from 0h to 24h.A prorata temporis discount is not possible.The vehicle is made available on the first day from 8 a.m., and must be released on the last day before 6 p.m.
Obligation of Golden Globe Transport
- Provide a vehicle in good condition, in accordance with its commitment.
- Provide a professional and experienced driver.
- The drivers we provide can speak French and English.
- If you would like the driver to speak a language other than French, please let us know in advance.
- Contact available 24 hours a day by phone in case of problems.
Insurance
- The insurances included in the rate are:
- Civil liability
- people transported, theft or in the case of damage caused by fire.
- The insurance does not include in consideration:
- Theft of personal items left in the vehicle unattended.
- The car, its passengers and driver are not insured when the vehicle is driven by someone other than our driver.
